Welcome to Tweets of the Week! This week people mainly tweeted about two things: teachers striking and the Middle East burning while Obama campaigns. As always you can follow me on Twitter here (I mostly just tweet about calculus now because college but you should still follow me anyway).

Now on to the tweets!

Kevin Eder doesn’t understand that when Democrats criticize foreign policy it’s for the good of the nation. When Republicans do it they’re trying to turn the world into the United Planet of America or something.

Oh, we can’t make foreign policy political? Gee, someone should have told Dems in 2004 when they were trying to lose the Iraq war for us.

Anneka Jameson reminds us of the Great NYC Mormon Riots of 2011. Those were dark times.

So, how is NYC recovering from those Mormons rioting over the #BookofMormon? They must have seriously been offended, right? #Caring

RB explains why all criticisms of Obama not acting on intel to stop this week’s embassy attacks are unfair:

Guys, Obama didn’t know about the embassy attacks in advance. Stop it. He skips intelligence briefings. #tcot #p2

— RB (@RBPundit) September 14, 2012

How dare Dennis Miller think that the War on Terror is more important than the War on Women? Everyone knows that having to pay for birth control and abortions is a bigger travesty than terrorists killing people. And maybe if we gave the terrorists free condoms they wouldn’t want to kill us. Ever think of that?

So let me get this straight. There’s a War on Women but no War on Terror? Hey guys, little less focus on the labia little more on Libya.

Poor Cole Streeper doesn’t understand that Christians kill people all the time. Like remember that time when those radical Christians flew planes into the World Trade Center?  Oh wait . . .

Plz #p2, explain how extremists killing our people is our fault. Sincerely, A Christian who doesn’t kill because his religion is mocked #tcot

The K-Dawg takes a radical pro-free-speech stance:

Better every embassy burn than we restrain any American from uttering a single word. Freedom is worth defending; no appeasement ever.

Renna explains why the striking Chicago teachers totally deserve a raise:

At $71,000/yr, about 40 percent of my tasks fail, but if you just paid me $82,360/yr, I’d be able to succeed. IT’S FOR THE CHILDREN!

— Renna (@RennaW) September 10, 2012

David Burge tells us why Chicago has the best schools in the world and their teachers totally deserve to be paid more (or at all):

40% of Chicago public school students drop out. And 20% of those who graduate are functionally illiterate. This is an obscenity.

— David Burge (@iowahawkblog) September 10, 2012

Mary Chastain thinks that teachers should actually care about teaching. What a racist.

Teachers, your raise should be by performance. Want a 19% raise? Perform better. Until then, TEACH and stop punishing the kids.

— Mary Climer-Chastain (@marychastain) September 10, 2012

AG is literally worse than Hitler for thinking that teachers’ unions are the problem in education. Think of the poor, starving teachers who can’t afford lavish vacations during their summers off- er, I mean think of the children! Yeah that’s right, think of the children. FOR THE CHILDREN!!!!

There is one culprit for our horrendous education system: Teachers’ Unions. Isn’t it about time we started putting kids first? #tcot #p2

— AG (@AG_Conservative) September 10, 2012

And now for your weekly dose of stupidity (honestly, I’m not sure where this person is coming from politically) :

@michellemalkin @lachlan @freddoso #Mitt‘s attacks on #Obama fueled those riots cuz they see America is DIVIDED and they exploit it. THINK

—❤Windows USA❤(@WindowsUSA) September 14, 2012

OMG, Windows is soooooo right.  There wouldn’t have been riots at US embassies if Mitt Romney hadn’t criticized Obama’s handling of said riots.  It’s obvious that Mitt Romney went back in time and told the rioters that Obama would handle the riots badly and they’d be free to do what they want. Damn you Mitt Romney, you are a terrible time lord.

See you all next week!

It was only a matter of time before they tried to pins four more deaths to Mitt’s name.
