Oh Democrats. Never ones to miss an opportunity to expose their own unabashed hypocrisy, the Democrats have enlisted accused rapist and renowned womanizer to headline their little convention, former President Clinton. Of course, this was after they paid tribute to man who, as Frank Fleming so astutely observed, “is the only politician with a confirmed kill in the War on Women.” If only Anthony Weiner had kept his seat, he would have been a great addition to this stellar line-up of men deeply concerned about women’s rights.
Thousands of intellectually dishonest women will proudly wear their buttons declaring their “right to choose.” These same women will recount the blessings of Obamacare, a monstrosity that places their sacred right to choose in the hands of unelected bureaucrats. Never mind that in all their pro-choiceyness, the unborn aren’t afforded a right to choose life or death. Yet for their love of “choice” they cannot respect women, who like myself, choose to protect the life of the innocent and unborn.
“Being a woman is not a pre-existing condition!” they’ll chant, whatever that means. “Republicans want to take us back to the 1950s!!” they’ll proclaim as they watch the video reminding them that “government is the only thing we all belong to.” While Obama’s White House pays women staffers eighteen percent less than men, these women will hoot and holler for “Lilly Ledbetter and Fair Pay!!” After they’ve dressed up as vajayjays, lit candles in veneration of infanticide and government control, and played in the sandbox of creepy Obama face, these “pro-choice” women’s libbers will go home to ensure thousands of liberty-loving Americans are not allowed to choose a Big Gulp, an SUV, unswirly light bulbs, or where to put their children in school. Pro-choice my Democrat mascot.
You see, there are many wonderful things about being a conservative woman. Perhaps the best perk is not being treated like a separate faction of the party with special needs. We are not pandered to like imbecilic idiots. We are treated equally and respected as individuals. Everything the “feminists” claim they want, we have, and we didn’t even have to dress up like lady bits. Oh, and we’re logically consistent too.
Our foremothers are rolling in their graves right now. I’m sure they fought for our right to vote so Democrats could pervert feminism into something tantamount to “all your abortions are belong to us.” So intellectually dishonest are the Democrats on these women’s issues that honesty just threw up in its mouth. So I’m sorry I’m not sorry for not caring about a fictitious “war on women” invented by lefties who don’t respect women, whose women don’t respect themselves or other women, and whose elected male officials have a history of treating women like trash. Thank GOD I’m a conservative.

As Un-PC as it is, I wish we could have an open discussion about this notion of a woman’s ‘sacred right’ to vote. How it worked, is that a vote wasn’t granted to just any individual, it was afforded to people who had a stake in the future of the country, which is why only land-owners could vote. What it did was not de-value the individual, but placed a higher value on the act of voting. By a woman not voting, it made voting a joint-operation; it was a family vote, where husband and wife came together and reached a consensus. Considering the fact that most single women overwhelmingly vote for a larger and more encompassing nanny state, it’s worthwhile to revisit this idea, even as just an academic debate..
I’m a single, conservative, land-owning woman. Are you really saying that I should not be allowed to vote because a majority of single women vote for a nanny state?
I don’t know, yours is certainly an exceptional case. What I do know, is that sociologists would suggest that on the average it’s more beneficial to the future of society that you marry, than if you voted.
Daniel, please allow me to through you a curve ball: I am a land owning, divorced woman who also happens to be Buddhist, 13 year vegetarian, and a college student in my 20′s. The fact that you would probably see this profile and assume I’m a liberal is incredibly insulting. I am allowed to be as weird as I want because I live in a country that is as free as America. Our country is not in dire poverty, which allows me to choose what kind of food I want in my body and because I don’t like the idea of killing animals, please do not think for a moment that I don’t practice my Second Amendment Rights. I am proud of my country and believe in the rights of the INDIVIDUAL. Just because I own property with my ex-husband does NOT mean I want to vote with him. He’s not remotely interested in politics, whereas I am. I’ll even take it a step further: this is not the first campaign I’ve volunteered for and as as founding member and president of my junior college’s College Conservatives Club, 4 years ago I was sitting on campus making the argument for the McCain campaign (or train wreck, whatever you want to call it) and I converted several of my liberal friends to become die hard conservatives. I think that you need to open your mind a little bit and maybe we’ll have a talk over why I will NEVER get married again while we munch on the veggie try at the next tea party rally I decide to attend.
Errr. Ok. I’m sorry but I’m not swayed solely by individual cases, no matter how extraordinary they are, or perhaps, BECAUSE of how extraordinary they are. If my best friend wanted to get a tattoo, it wouldn’t turn around my opinion that tattoos are by and large a bad idea, and I think Conservatives on the whole, especially us young ones, need to have some guts when it comes to sticking with our standards, because we’re going to be constantly hit with all sorts of individual sob stories that try to demolish our sense of macro values.
Again, what I proposed was a casual bull session, not binding legislation. We’ve got to take on the colossal fight of requiring voter I.D. before we can take on any other sort of step to restore the validity of voting.
I do not consider myself to be an individual case nor a “sob story.” I consider myself to be an American. I hold true to the conservative values I was raised on, and as the daughter and granddaughter of business owners, I will hold onto these intrinsic values as if they were golden. I am a YOUNG CONSERVATIVE and even when you want to exclude me from your “circle” as we have seen Dems do this week, I think you are completely limiting your idea of what it means to be an Individual and what Individual values mean to this country. By limiting who can be a “Conservative” and who can’t be, you are ruining the ideas that made this country great. As I have previously said, I am weird. I am the product of the values I’ve learned as the grandchild of Catholic, Evangelical, and Jewish grandmothers, I am smart enough to develop my own ideas and I have them. I know one of my grandmothers is not biological, but I grew up with all ideologies swarming around me and I will protect all of their individual rights until the “Progressives” take them away.
Yeah, we need to have a real round table talk about all of this “equal rights” nonsense. Women, minorities, gays voting…is it really needed????
Lol, all of you are the absolute worst.
Why is it with liberals that if one conservative says something it immediately becomes “all of you”? This article did not mention anything about a round table talk – ONE person in the comments did. And if you notice, there has yet to be someone who agrees with him.
But of course, because of that one person, that means we are “the absolute worst.”
I’m sorry. I should of also said that the article is completely off-base and full of misinformation. My mistake.
P.S. You all are still the worst.
See? Now that’s better! Congrats on being the first liberal to ever say “I’m sorry” to a conservative on Misfit Politics – that’s quite an achievement!
P.S. It’s “should HAVE” not “should OF”…wouldn’t want you looking like an idiot here. You’re welcome
P.P.S. Feel free to point out what exactly this “misinformation” is in this article. Just a little heads up if you want to play in our playground, conservatives tend to prefer facts over generalized statements. You’re welcome (again)
