Well, THAT’S refreshing!
Nancy Pelosi took to the cameras to express concern over the escalating violence at Occupy Wall Street. Apparently, the rioting in the Oakland chapter of the OWS movement was too much for the former Speaker of the House, who had been very supportive until now.
Full disclosure: I had no idea Botox kept the face flexible enough to allow for near tears. I’m as shocked as you are.
Maybe now, with Republicans and Democrats agreeing that violent protests have no place in our societ…. Wait. I’ve just been informed that the video above was from 2009! She was talking about Tea Party protests. She’s nearly in tears over these guys:
Yeah, those guys are SCARY! Look at them all just standing (and sitting, obviously preparing for battle) there with their cameras and non-burned US flags without any kind of edgy corporate-logos-instead-of-stars stuff. You can almost see the rage building up as they get ready to storm the castle – wait, Capitol. How could Nance not be afraid of this seething mob? I mean, they’re clearly dangerous because she’d NEVER think to walk through that mob carrying a gigantic gavel and laugh in their faces, right? That would be suicide.
I can’t wait to see what she has to say about these guys.
In the mean time, let’s watch what Pelosi said in response to Eric Cantor’s now eerily prescient comments about the entire Occupy Wall Street movement.
Feel the hypocrisy. Feel it.
I’m sorry, the Tea Party was spitting on people? When and where?
And this alleged spitting, that’s so much worse than raping, smashing windows and pooping on cop cars, right? Fake spitting is just as bad as threatening to kill people, right? For sure?

Well, you know what they say about rats and sinking ships. Winter is going to make things worse for those hippies stupid enough to think they can protest without a home to return to and the cops can’t help them because the Labor Collective (those organs devoted to turning this nation into a banana republic or worse) wants to make OWS and their cousins a martyr. It’s been so long since the labor movement had a foundation for making sweeping policy change, these kids will become the necessary sacrifice for that policy change. Don’t know what all that entails but the Unions and their benefactors need these protests to continue into chaos and catastrophe for their agenda of bigger government and collective reliance upon the government to succeed.
I hope it’s not too much to expect the growing cold to awaken their basic sense (as they have not the intellect) and flee the cold.
